sick

so quick updates:

im sick. i got sick from salon job. on saturday night i noticed my throat was getting sore then snday my throat was on FIRE the whole day. prob cuz you gotta touch pl n stuff like with massages. it its just head n back whatever but u gotta do arm massages too which is dumb like what does that do with the head but yeah so ppl could be coughing on their hands n i gota touch it. i usually wash my hands after but sometimes u dont gt time but idk im 90% sure thats how i got this cold. i missed 2 days of work at forever so far. im taking today off cuz my nose n eyes r getting watery n im sneezing alot. yesterday i PROBABLY couldve worked but i was just tired n didnt feel like exhausting myself. i hope im good enough tomorrow i feel really bad taking days off

a while ago finally saw lightning from FF12 on a louis vuitton ad. glad im in japan to witness this first hand. idk if they do this too in other countries

anyways, so last tuesday i hung out with martina in ikebukuro since shes leaving like today or tomorrow and i wanted to see her one last time

when we met we ate lunch first and theres this fish n chips place i found online that looks good and reasonably priced only at ikebukuro and i wanted to try it. it took a while to find even though we were literally down the street just walking in circles but it was delish and very cheap. gotta eat there everytime i go to ikebukuro now

then looking at anime merch i bought a mini hakuouki blanket and i found a rubber strap of senkimaru waahhh!!!! im so glad

after ikebukuro went back to shibuya to meet up with some of her friends. i saw jon for a bit too before he had to go to dinner with his other friends. anyways went to mandrake to look around then went to 109 to eat some pancakes

they look pretty but theyre really nothing special. took like 20 minutes to get and kinda expensive and ive tasted better. whatever. the ice cream was good tho

anyways so yeah then on thursday met up with jon and idris for sushi. i was kinda nervous since i havent talked to idris in months cuz the gf incident and i was kinda ignoring him for the first while but after a while it was like old times. tho i was still mean to him at times cuz he deserved it. so after sushi went to book off and i bought 2 new dresses then we met up with jons friend and went to the arcade together. me n jon are planning on doing hanami but idk about the weather i took monday and tuesday off just in case cuz its ALWAYS crap weather on monday and monday only but nt its monday AND tuesday wtf why does the weather hate me? and the other days are no rain. just those 2 days thats a bunch of bs. im praying everyday that its gonna be nice weather at least one of those days cuz thats my last chance really and i didnt get to do hanami last year cuz weather was bad and also school

anyways so jon n hs friend split then me n idris hung around and got some boba and caught up on life. so i guess we are friends again but i still told him i lost a lot of respect for him n stuff but it was nice hanging out like old times

always working so not much to update

earlier this month at forever21 had to go to some physical exam thing at the harajuku store. but yeah im all healthy. its a really good job i get good benefits the only bad thing is once i turn in my schedules its hard to change them. like that one voice recording company that pays a lot asked if i can join them on the 16th or 1th and a little more than a week advanced i asked not to take off just start a little later but they said no. like plzzzzz theres plenty of ppl to work one person startng like 3 hours later aint gonna make a difference. so i had to turn down a $100 job for 2 hours of reading....thats more than i make in a day at regular work

anyways OMG THE TRAILER FOR ZERO ESCAPE 3 CAME OUT THIS WEEK N I DIED

like i literally died.

i was just screaming and fangirling my heart was racing i couldnt breathe omg it was amazing. so much excitement. dude just watching the trailer got me effed up im ready to get destroyed. like honestly i must buy a vita or 3DS(prob vita cuz otome games lol) cuz i actually want to PLAY THIS. like i borrowwed 999 from my friend and got rekt but for vlr i didnt have the systems so i watched the entire game online cuz i mean its 90% reading anyways only game play is solving puzzles but i skipped those parts. but this time i really wanna play it. they say it will be on steam later but i dont really like playing pc games besides pixel horror. if its for an actual hand held console id rather play it on that. so yeah need to buy it and i wanna get it as soon as it comes out so i can cry about it to my friend who already preordered a long time ago

anyways so i also but my nails cuz my right index finger just keeps breaking. i even put a fake nail on it and the fake nail ended up cracking too....

my friend jon from hong kong is back in japan for 3 weeks so i will hang out with him a bit while hes here. and on tuesday i asked for a day off cuz i need to extend my visa so they had to give me an off day for that yay. so i do that in the morning hen afterwards i go to ikebukuro with my friend cuz i wanna buy more hakuouki trash. for the first time in months tomorrow(monday) WONT rain. like my one day off on mondays always has crap weather then the next day its nice n sunny but i got work. lke its suppose to be kinda cloudy with some sun but hey no rain. so maybe i take a walk idk i feel like im getting fat lately cuz in the day i dont eat much but when i get home i inhale all this junk food and at work i mean im always standing but not really exersizing. since i never go anywhere anymore i dont walk much so yeah feel fat

oh n that japanese guy at work i thought was cute has a gf. not that anything wouldve happened with us anyways but :(

srry for lack of posts i just never do anything besides work so nothing interesting to talk about

i only get one day off n im usually too tired to do anything plus my one day off always seem to be crappy weather too so dont wanna go out anyways

anyways sometime this month i went to parco cuz there was some valentine osomatsu san thing but i guess u can only go in the store through a lottery so yeah..but there was a one punch man store so took a pic of that

yeh didnt do anything for valetines just boring

ive finally started doing massages to clients at the salon though. since my nails are long i use my knuckles but then my knuckles get red n sore. once my nail polish chips off badly i think i'll just cut them w/e like one nail broke n i tried putting a fake nail on but since i use my hands a lot at forever21 it made a crack on the fake nail them it just came off n i dont wanna keep putting on new ones cuz when they come off it ruins my natural nails

sigh always when they get a really nice length i have to cut them

and yesterday after work me n the other assistant kai went to take purikura n i did her makeup all gyaru-ish but i forgot to bring eyelash glue and i wasnt wearing eyelashes either but whatever i still looked nice lol

then we ate ramen together n it was really yummy

and its kinda annoying, my roommate cuz like she works mon-fri n i work tues-sun so neither of us really get to sleep in cuz our scheduels but like on the weekends i try to be quiet n stuff n i leave by 8:30 so she has time to fall bac to sleep but for her on my monday off like i already naturally wake up right before our alarm at 7:45 but like she opens the curtains alot so it gets brighter but on the weekend if its kinda sunny outside i try to keep it open only a little so the light doesnt bother her. i had to tell her before she leaves to close the curtins cuz beore she left them WIIIDDDEE open n its super bright n im like wtf i dont wanna get up to close them so yeah but like she also uses the hair dryer in our room in the morning. like she puts some spray n blow dries but like can u not do that for just one day? or if u do go to the bathroom or something cuz im tryin to sleep here. n she leaves at 9 so like im practically awake u know but i just stay in bed til at lest 9:30 anyways cuz im still tired. idk not such a big deal like shes way more considerate than the other crap roommate but still...

past week

lets see the usual works but on thursday after work i hung out with zac n we got some sushi together

then afterwards decided to stop by animate and there was a DIABOLIK LOVERS EVENT and i DIED

like literally when i saw it i started screaming n fangirling so hard i was like 'sorry u have to see me like this'

i ended up liking him the best out of the mukami brothers

i still need to watch the last 2 episodes of more blood. wish i was back home to watch it with brooke and scream and have dl parties n stuff that was so much fun

and since i was just so in the moment i ended up buying a laito cushion for $13. i thought itd be bigger but when i hug it at night its really tiny and doesnt give much support to my arms. there was a kazama one that was way bigger but like $10 more at this other place but aahhhhh someone buy it for me T_T

and on sunday went to do a voice recording job in sugamo and thats like the harajuku for old ppl and yeah lots of old ppl were there. first we got to sight see a bit then talk through translation app, then theres some evacuation drill and we have to go to an elementary school and read a script and check to make sure the app recognizes what we say then take a survey and we're done

and there was another american and she was really interesting even though shes old enough to be my mom but she has lots of connections to ppl and im look hook me up so we exchanged info

and today even tho its my day off i didnt sleep in. last night i was SOOOOoOooOoOOo tired so i went to sleep at 10

and cuz i had to get up by 9 this morning that was enough sleep. my roommate started working today so i was awake before she got up but just stayed in bed trying to half sleep and with all the noise she made i was having nightmares that 2 more ppl were living in our room n our beds are bunkbeds and really tiny idk

and so i had an interview for this english teaching assistant for salon ppl so they dont gotta turn away foreign customers and i think it went pretty well. im shy so was kinda quiet but other than that i think they really liked me they said the ppl who take the class would prob like me cuz im pretty lol and they like that i have lots of knowledge of the beauty industry and it pays $25 an hour i really hope i get it!! it'll only be like once a week but still i can make like $150 in one day

then afterwards just shopped around in shibuya a bit since im too tired to do that after work and i bought a gold chain necklace at forever21 lol. idk lately ive just really wanted a chain necklace. not that i really have stuff to wear it with until it gets warmer but still looks really nice

I havent blogged in a while cuz im SO busy with work!!!

now i have TWO jobs so i only get one day off.

anyways, from the top:

maybe a week ago went to harajuku with claire cuz havent gone in a couple months it was really fun!!

we took purikura and the machine we went in was so cute!! i need to go to that one again

went to look around store, got some crepes and boba, bought some more accessories too.

we were gonna go karaoke too but or karaoke place doesnt have a location for harajuku so we had to walk back to shibuya since its only like 15 min tops by walking

but before that went to the moshi moshi center to ask about the karaoke place and they offered us free miso for the place next store wheee. its really cold these days so a hot cup of miso was nice

gotta go to the moshi place more to see what other free stuff i can get since im a foreigner

then on wednesday i was SUPPOSE to do a $200 voice recording job but the guy never got my message saying i can do it so he gave my spot to someone else urg i took that day off work for him whatever im doing a recording job this sunday but only $100 this time and its at a further place and earlier too but only 4 hours so whatever

but since i had the day off went to yokohama with claire

we went to china town and looked around a bit. everything was so expensive

then we walked towards the place where cup noodles factory is cuz thats a nice area and on the way there we saw the sea

it was such a nice view with the sun setting but not all bright it was the perfect lighting and took lots of pics

i went to this area before so im kinda familiar with the area. there was a ferris wheel, roller coaster n other rides but they were closed? and it wasnt like it was late it was like 5. maybe they dont open during winter cuz last time it was working

anyways last time i came here i went to that californian restaurant and its really good so we went again. its such an american restaurant it makes me really happy. i ate a chili cheese burger this time. the chili couldve been a bit warmer but still delicious

after that went to starbucks to try this holiday drink but it tasted like their normal hot chocolate to me. the vanilla frappe i got that one time was good that was like the only thing i liked so far

anyways so this last weekend started working at a hair salon as an assistant. i only work weekends but im out alllll daayyy

its ok. not too hard or easy. i need to learn massage technique though cuz they have a certain way to wash hair n stuff. i'll practice on my roommate and when i shower

but hmm yeah. the salon looks pretty n stuff with plants n all that but it DEF wont pass state board inspections like theres always hair on the floor cuz they have a crappy little broom and they dont sanitize their tools so they use scissors right after the next customer without washing it or anything 

i guess its not THAT big of a deal if they dont have lice or something but its so different than in america where in school they really focus on sanitation.

plus the hair dressers sit while cutting hair in japan which is kinda weird to me

there is only 2 ppl who work there besides me, the boss who is the only person to cut hair and this other assistant(who isnt licensed)

they are really understaffed...

but they are nice and its an english speaking salon so i have no trouble communicating with them its just hard cuz sometimes i have to answer the phone and its in japanese and i cant really understand what pl are saying over the phone and im not good at keigo

oh yeh and the 31st was the other assistants bday so the boss bought a cake and flowers n champagne. so i didnt wanna refuse the drink so i took a sip of alcohol for the first time in my life and after that sip i can feel that toxin spread through my body n im like what is happening??!!!! is this normal??

i only took like 2 sips then stopped cuz i grew up to say no to this stuff and i have no problem not drinking so yea

anyways yesterday was my day off and i was super tired n gross looking n just stayed home all day and did my nails

its valetine nails and betty boop cuz why not

actually i got today off too cuz its a new month so the schedules for forever21 get reset or something and today there was some store inspection so it doesnt open til 2pm so i go back tomorrow

waahhh just always working at least im making $$$

past week

so lots to write for this week!!!

on tuesday was my first day of forever 21. its kinda hard communicating but i know enough to assume what they are saying. i work as a stock person so im mostly in the back unpacking and hanging/folding clothes. its kinda boring and my body hurts cuz ur always moving around or standing. the only time i get to sit is lunch break so my feet hurt but its slowly getting used to it. but i have to wake up at 7:45 everyday instead of like 10 like i usually do lol

but the people working there are nice and try to explain for me to understand. and theres a boy there im interested in LOL and he has the same work hours as me!!! but i only see him tues and weds. he looks like yuzuru hanyuu like a older version. hes korean but i think he speaks japanese well even though he doesnt think so but hes 27 o_O i was like whaaattt i thought hs like 23 tops but no point in liking him cuz he says hes gonna move back to korea in april. all the guys i like move wtf

anyways after work i hung out with claire for the first time in foreverrrr and we had boba and went karaoke n just hang out

anyways keep working yadda yadda friday is my bday but nobody knew except claire lol w/e but at work theres this girl from germany who speaks english n looks all kawaii so i was talking with her

this may sound mean but all the 'cool' ppl are on the floor while the 'kinda ugly ones' work in the back. im only in the back cuz my language problems. but yuzuru is good looking but i guess his japanese aint good enough to be on the floor

anyways so friday after work met up with claire to eat at our sushi place. havent eaten there since the last time i ate with her there

afterwards went to animate and there was some owari no seraph thing going on i never watched it but took a pic anyways and its blurry my camera wouldnt focus for some reason

theres these ppl at my house that cosplay this anime n they just walk around in the costumes when theres prob no events or anything going on just cuz. idk whatever

and we just shop around i bought another sweater and this shoe shop like everything was on sale for $10 and i was tempted to buy these shoes but i have stuff similar but ya know i think im gonna go back n buy it anyways cuz those look better than what i have already so yeah. i have so many shoes here already though oh well. took purikura too

anyways next day is technically my real birthday since in america is the right day so yeah celebrate 2 days in a row. im 22 now btw

so had claire meet me at ikebukuro and i wanted to go to namja town cuz theres an osomatsu san even going on

idk we came at a bad time cuz it was soooo crowded like when i went for the otomate thng it wasnt as bad but all the stores we went to in ikebukuro were packed couldnt buy anythng cuz u cant really look around

in the back i see these dangan ronpa stuff and i go to check it out and take pics but after i take pics i notice the 'no taking pictures' sign lol whoops

but dangan ronpa only had one food which was ice cream but it was expensive so naaahh

anyways i bought this fish fillet and fried gyoza or something idk what to call this it was like $8 not really worth it maybe $5 TOPS but i guess its cuz u pay for the bottles of different sauce flavors. most were prob mayo based i only didnt like the green one idk what that was but it tasted weird

they all tasted different but its really hard to tell what the flavor is

and me n claire got some sweets too. we sat in a darkish place cuz at the time that was the only place with seats available so kinda crappy pics and its from that tsukitua or w/e

after namja town looked at my otome trash stores but as i said it was suuupppeerr crowded for some reason ive been here on saturdays in the past but this was te most packed ive ever seen it. i wanted to buy a starry sky keychain of my character cuz it was 100 yen but the line and the ppl n im like well i dont NEED it so gave it up.

we also did more karaoke and this place had romaji for japanese songs so we sang mostly japanese songs this time since its easier. wish the karaoke in shibuya had that feature.

anyways yeah just looking around

theres a butler cafe in ikebukuro that has a hakuouki collab i wanted to go but spent too much $$ already maybe another time

i was really tired that day though from the weeks work so today i just stay home alllll daayy

and ugghhhh tomorrow even though its a day off i have to get up at the same time cuz i have an interview for a hair salon in yokohama and they wanna meet at 10 wwhhhyyy i want to be like can we do it later but i did that to this other place and they didnt want me after that so....

when i get back home tae nap on massage chair cuz my shoulders r just killing me but since its a weekend everyone is home n i dont wanna go when lots of ppl r in the shower room n stuff cuz i wanna sleep n stuff so i'll do it tomorrow

first of all, had a forever21 orientation on wednesday so yeah, i'm officially hired whee!

but im still unsure when i start??? like on the paper i wrote i'd like to start working tomorrow but i havent heard anything from them? i sent a message to 2 of the higher ups but no word from them?? what if i have to work tomorrow but dont show up? but i dont wanna show up if i dont start. idk they have to get everyones schedules organized so maybe it takes time idk and they will tell me... they havent told me so i guess i wont go tomorrow...hope i dont get in trouble....

look how kawaii i looked at the orientation. yeah filtered. i rarely take pictures on my actual camera anymore  unless im going to some event thing like disneyland

anyways, yesterday i went to see takarazuka which is a stage play musical thing by all women. so even the guy parts are girls. ive always wanted to see it and there was some foreigner special so tickets were only $15 and u get a booklet n stuff too

anyways the day before i redid my hair so i dress up all nice n fancy and dang like i look really good hate to sound conceited(not really) but i looked like a model im in all black with nice makeup and perfect hair. at the area for the play theres different halls for different stuff n i kept getting lost and like all the guys were helping me lol. like one lady who took my ticket was like oh its for the wrong place then some other guy steps n and is like 'i'll handle it' or watever and escorted me to the right place.

anyways once i finally got settled in the right area with everything took a pic of the costume display

idk i didnt really look around at souvenirs or whatever much cuz i just wanted to get settled in my seat n stuff cuz the show was gonna start in like 15 min and i was so busy earlier trying to find everything

anyways i get to my seat n the area is suppose to be for foreigners but there was only like 5 visibly noticeable foreign looking ppl(AKA white ppl) and everyone else was azn and they were all speaking japanese like natives n im like wtf how did they get these tickets japanese ppl arent suppose to buy them. like these ladies next to me were speaking fluently english the whole time n there was this small comedy part and all the japanese ppl were laughing at the jokes(including them) but the foreigners werent cuz we dont get it  but at the end of the show we gotta fill some questionaire and i guess they were from taiwan or something but prob been living in japan a long time

and the girl on the other side of me kept taking pictures throughout the show even though ur not suppose to. i wanted to tell her its not allowed but just kept quiet. i looked at her phone and i guess shes chinese cuz it was all kanji

anyways the show was 2 parts. the first part was just singing disney songs. i didnt really care for it tbh. there were some songs that im like 'i have never heard this what movie is this from?' and the second part was normal takarazuka stuff which i liked a lot better

im surprised how deep some of these women's voices get o__O like dang sounds like a man

after the play was over i planned on meeting claire since shes back in japan but she couldnt find how to get to the city oh well. we were gonna go to an art gallery by the artist of litchi hikari club but i was planning on going alone from the beginning anyways so whatevers. the only thing is the gallery closes at 7, and the play ended at 5:40. its suppose to be like 10 min walk from there though but idk my google maps wasnt working good like it tells me to go one way then is like whoops thats the wrong way so gotta go opposite direction n stuff.

by the time i get like halfwayish its already 6:10 so prob by the time i actually get to the gallery itd be like 6:30 and id only have 30 min to check it out. if it ended at 8 chyeaa i'd go but im like forget it cuz its not free to enter and i wanna be able to appreciate the art not just quickly scan through the room. waahh and it ends tomorrow so guess i'll never be able to see it T_T

so just went home but ate at mcdonalds. dude its so weird how normal it is to eat alone at restaurants n stuff here. like ppl just chill by themselves for hours reading a book or doing work or something at fast food places. in america if u see ppl eating by themselves u might feel bad for them but heres its normal?? so yeah just doing my own thing

anyways i also did my nails the day before too

i got some alice in wonderland stickers at the 100 yen shop and used my gels i think they turned out really nice!!

btw with my hair toner didnt work AGAIN! guess its just a bad tube or something. hopefully the other i have works cuz its the exact same one

back to my nails, when i took a shower to rinse out my hair, my thumb(white one) there was like a weird air bubble guess the first layer of white didnt cure all the way so by the end of the shower it was basically falling apart so i clipped off the corner cuz aint no way im redoing the whole nail

so the next day had to redo that part and put that bunny circle thing and more jewels to try to hide the line which i think is very unnoticeable unless u really really look 

anyways so my birthday is on friday waaaahhhhhh!

on saturday claire better be free cuz i wanna go to namja town again cuz theres an osomatsu san and dangan ronpa event. plus its in ikebukuro so can buy more useless otome merch
