NAMJA TOWN~~ &anime

first of all this is my new nail

i havent done animal print in a long time so yeah something different n funky

anyways so as you may know ive been SICK all week. i missed 2 days of skool cuz when i did go to school i was so weak but u like gotta repeat stuff n i didnt feel like talking n stuff

but with medicine im better so i asked my friend if she wanted to go to namja town with me for the otomate collab cuz she likes diabolik lovers too

i told her to meet me at the train station at exit 35 but i didnt see any just south/west/east exit ect no numbers so i waited at the east exit for a while cuz it sad towards sunshine city which is where we needed to go. but after a while i decided to walk around trying to find her then i see exit 35 like wtf and she was there!! but yeah i felt bad cuz everytime we meet up i swear one of us gets lost lol

anyways we were in ikebukuro and i had no idea what an anime town it was!! like lots of arcades and animates

anyways so at namja town we ate delicious food thats themed of animes or w/e

they also had yowamushi pedal/basara/and some baseball anime collab going on besides the otomate thing and claire likes yowamushi pedal so she was happy

i bouht a diabolik lovers crepe first for 780 yen i think? too lazy to look at the flier right now

over priced yes, but its "special" so w/e just take my money

its chocolate and raspberry i guess?

and claire got a crepe of her fav character from yowamushi pedal

when you buy a food it comes with a post card or something so i got a mukami brothers one

so next im like i need to eat something of hakuouki so i decided to buy an ice cream

its vanilla ice cream with some macha something on the side. idk what flavor that whipped cream was and just some big wafer.

this was 650 yen i think.

and claire also bought a diabolik lovers parfait and it was cute so i took a pic

and im glad most of the girls who bought these things were just normal. not all nerdy but then again i dd see some pretty obv otaku girls who look like they just dont care about being feminine.

and girls who carry these bags with craploads of buttons n merch of characters. saw lots of girls who like kanato blegh n i saw one girl who had this bag dedicated to okita n i wanted to take a pic but idk.

and i forgot that they had special purikura for otomate like i couldve taken hakuouki themed purikura but i forgot aaahhhhh T_T

but afterwards there was a pokemon center in the same building so we stopped by to take a look even though we both dont care much for pokemon

yeeeee

then afterwards went to animate n all those anime stores! i'll explain what i gt at the bottom of the post but lots of stuff were really good deals!

and there were lots of cosplay shops too

im prob not suppose to take pics but sshhhhh

its hakuouki cosplay so what u expect me to just not take a picture?

and the evelator door for one level was brothers conflict. like i dont care to watch/play this series cuz none of the guys look that hot to me but w/e i still take a pic

afterwards we went to akihabara since its sorta nearby.

we walked around but i didnt buy anything here. most of the shops were anime figures but i dont care much for those cuz like ok i got my hakuouki figures but all you do is put it on a shelf n admire it. like i like the keychains n stuff more cuz u can show it off n stuff. but not many stores had those n if it did nothing i cared about

but its just interesting looking at all the stuff. i need to go back to nakano cuz thats where they had all my keychains n cheap video games!!!

after walking around a long time we stumbled across this store i really wanted to go to! its a store FULL of gashapon!!

like ive seen videos n stuff n im just like where is this!? but i found it w/o even looking for it!! but i didnt buy anything. they had a diabolik lovers thing but like, i only really like 2 or 3 characters n i dont want to get someone i dont like. so nahh.

and we ate a yoshinoya cuz its cheap. there was a pasta place we wanted t go to but they had like no chairs?? so u had to stand up n eat which is dumb and we needed a place to just sit down n relax.

then go home around 7:30 maybe

anyways heres what i bought:

the 2 postcards i got from namja town

a toki no kizuna drama CD for 100 yen!!!

toki no kizuna and hakuouki reimeiroku illustration book aaaahhh!!! both for 1600 yen they had other hakuouki books i wanted but ahh like these books are wrapped up so u cant open it so i was like i'll just buy these.

literally the only anime things i buy is otome trash.

and appearantly yesterday as i was walking home there was a HUGE earthquake thats like 8.5 or something but i didnt feel a single thing. like i come home n my roommates like did u feel that earthquake? n im like what earthquake? n she tells me how everyone in the building was freaking out n the manager was like DAIJOUBU DAIJOUBU! and she says im abnormal for not feeling it. i swear im missing out. cuz on monday i think there was another big earthquake but i didnt feel that either cuz i was sick and prob took a nap at the time. i wanna feel a big earthquake!!

and today just sunbathing with my roommate outside and theres this boy im kinda interested in that lives here too and she wanted to see him but he looks like any ordinary japanese boy so its hard explaining and we had this code that when i see him, i'll say "it'll be sunny tomorrow" so ive been waiting to say that for the longest time then today i finally see him when im with her and so now she knows and shes taked with him before so shes telling me all about him n stuff lol

but idk im not super into him like hes not really my type but something about him makes me wanna talk to him at least

eh

on thursday my class and teacher went out to eat sushi together! because our teacher is going to be teaching a different class next week T_T so we decided to have sushi with her

she doesnt get off work till about an hour later so we just headed to the arcades!

oh btw, i actually found an arcade with a DDR machine BUT theres always some guy hogging it like i swear its the same person everytime. like obv hes been playing for a while since hes like drenched in sweat but whatever one day. its been like almost a year or something since i played but i think im still good.

anyways decided to play some mario kart!

i chose the taiko drum master as my racer cuz its a japan only thing.

i ended up in 3rd place T_T

i dont think i'll play it again because 200yen for 1 game(just like 2 laps) ehhh

one of the boys played some street fighter or something. i swear the guys that are in these arcades look like they spend the whole day here thats why they are good.

anyways we were suppose to meet our teacher aat 6 but she said if she doesnt show up to just meet at the sushi place but we werre waiting a long time n made the reservation while waiting but luckily she showed up before we went inside

i ordered this hamburger sushi lol its so weird but tasty. wish it was a bit warmer though

i also ordered salmon sushi but i never got it! like there was a total of 4 or 5 that we all ordered but only received 2. so i told our teacher at checkout to complain 

all togethe the cost was over $50 but our teacher was nice n said everyone pay 500yen n she'll pay the rest

afterwards the teacher n this one guy split so me n 3 other classmates went to more arcades and then to book off

and they had a nurarihyon no mago DVD for like $1 and what a steal!!! like it comes with the dvd, a drama cd, and an art book.

the original price is like $60 too. i dont get why dvds in japan are so expensive. literally no one but maybe a hardcore fan would pay that much for a dvd in america. "expensive" dvds are like $30

there were dvds here for like $200 wtf. like some come with extra stuff ok. but i saw one that was just the dvd only for over $150 whaaatt

and me n claire didnt know there were more floors so we were walking around wondering where the guys went then we found them. we spent like 2 hours in book off lol. 

i got home at almost 11 n my roommates like ur so late!

but auuughhh the next day i woke up with a sore throat WHHYYYY!!!

well i was kinda cold walking around with no jacket so maybe thats why but i got no medicine and at skool i was like half awake so couldnt focus on the japanesee

and today i just stayed home doing nothing while my roommate is out shopping in shibuya

i finally got the dreamcast emulator to work so got to play sonic shuffle!

me n hasna played this when we were little. but im like really bad at this so next time i play i set the cpu to easy XD

last night was so crappy. like im sick and i couldnt sleep AT ALL!! like half the ppl in the apartment were downstairs partying n my roommate was at some different party and came home after midnight n i was still awake. i decide to go to the bathroom around 1 but when i open the door theres some guy passed out on the floor??? and i just walk away cuz idk wat to do in situations like this. plus i guess he was peeing then passed out cuz it looked like his pants were down but i didnt see anything. but other ppl saw him shortly after n tried waking him up. i just gargled n went to the bathroom on the 3rd floor instead. yeah but i couldnt sleep cuz i had all this mucus in my throat so i couldnt breathe n i was MISERABLE like i literally stayed up the entire night. then around 5 i started feel nauseous so couldnt really lay down anymore. then at 6 decided to get up since had to go to bathroom aain then was like might as well get up so just playing on the phone

but i was SOOO tired so i took a nap sitting up for like 40 minutes. then woke up again and i kept spitting saliva in tissues cuz its all slimy n i felt like barfing. i havent puked in like 10 years but i kinda wanteed to cuz ike i know it would just be saliva n stuff. no food or anything would come out cuz that should be digested long ago plus i know id feel better after throwing up but i didnt want to go to the bathroom. like ok its early so not many ppl would notice but when i got up theres already ppl walking around n i dont want ppl hearing me gag. i wanted to barf in the trash in our room but i didnt want to wake my roommate up either so i just held it in n was dying. like when i woke up i was drenched in sweat n so exhausted. i guess my roommate couldnt really sleep good either last night cuz she slept in til like 11:30. this is my worst night in japan. well my WORST was 2 years ago when i had hives, but for this time it was last night. ugguuu

i wanted my mommy T_T

i was scared to eat food cuz i wasnt sure if my stomach was upset r i was hungry so i waited til like 1 to eat and last time i ate was like 20 hours ago so i was starving. good thing i made rice balls last night. i mostly just stayed in bed resting or on the computer. at 6 i decided to go shopping for food but i was dying. ugguuu i hope this night s better idk if i'll go to skool tomorrow

weekend

this weekend was fun

on saturday i was planning on doing nothing but my roommate invited me to go to this ramen museum with her friends.

they were all german but nice enough to talk in english around me

it wasnt really a "museum" more like a place with many different ramen shops.

the base floor 1 looked like this it was pretty cool

felt like disneyland kinda

i wanted shio ramen cuz its my fav but ended up buying a shio/shoyu mix cuz it was the cheapest n i gotta start saving money now

besides this, ive only had ramen one other time(at a restaurant, not home made)

it was good, but my fav is still that one ramen in tokyo but i forgot where  need to ask my mom cuz it was literally the BEST ramen ive ever had

after that we went to walk around china town in yokohama. lol i went here last time for the trick art museum! but we just looking at the sites

this was taken from some shrine thing n ppl are praying inside but u have to pay like 100 yen for the candle n stuff n im literally broke(for that day)

and went home to buy groceries

my roommate showed me one of those azn photo editng apps and omg im in love

like its totally edited cuz i went over board with the eyes n im not really wearing a lot of makeup but i think i look ok. i like the filter too

anyways, next day on sunday got to see kabuki!!! i was so excited cuz ive wanted to see kabuki for a long time!

i guess tickets are usually like $100 but ours were $40 but we had to pay an extra $10 for these translator things. but we got to watch 3 plays n it lasted almost 5 hours so i think its a really good deal. plus the seats werent THAT far. like sumo seats were really far away but the kabuki theater wasnt too big so the actors dont look like tiny dots.

u can take pics inside but not during the play so just showing the stage is boring.

anyways ^^ are the 3 plays. i liked the middle one the best because it seemed more "traditional" kabuki than the others

like this snake guy and ppl are fighting it and the dance was really cool i loved it! the first play was kinda boring. and the last was the longest it was OK

overall i really enjoyed it and watch to see more!!

i literally have no food i have no idea what im going to eat for breakfast tomorrow cuz i have a little milk left but not enough for cereal. wahhhh

i def need to buy food tomorrow after skool

sumo n stuff

kinda a lot to write:

last friday after school just walking around shibuya with claire. i took her to yoshinoya cuz its a delicious restaurant. then we went to tower records and ommmgggg i found the most AMAZING book that teaches u how to use the F word and B word and omg i was dying it was hilarious but it was $13 so eh no

k so heres some random pic of uta no prince sama in shibuya idk what its for maybe a store??? if so i need to check it out

oh and last thursday i think i went to this meat festival with my uncle n cousin. like it was good food but SUPER expensive like holy crap 2 tiny steak kabob things were $14 like you can get a whole steak meal at a restaurant for that price. i also got 2 sausages for 700yen which is still over priced but ehh i didnt pay for it so w/e

then on saturday i went to my grandmas house with my uncle n cousin cuz my ther cousin was there from hokkaido

i also got my first phone T_T im still gettng used to it

we all ate at a shabu shabu restaurant

i think it was my first time eating shabu shabu but it was good. my cousins both had sukiyaki and they let me had some too. my mom would make it sometimes back home.

but i was soooo fullll. my last good meal in a while i bet

ive been talking to my cousin on LINE cuz all my japanese friends always ask if i have one so i finally made one. it doesnt seem that special tho

anyways on tuesday i went to watch SUMO with some ppl from skool!

i got my ticket for about $22 which is good cuz my mom says tickets are usually like $100

but we sat at the very very top lol

i dont really care for sumo but it was def a LOT more exciting seeing it in person than watching it on TV

my ticket, guide, and idk what the paper is. maybe some gambling prediction sheet?

luckily these girls that are claires friends that i met up with in shinjuku were there so i hung out with them

they said they are also going to see kabuki so i can sit with them there too

but ommmgggg ribbet is dumb now. u gotta pay for the premium features now nooooooooo so im all shiny looking and gross yuck. i pray a new site with airbrushing features will come out soon

and the summo matches like when you think they will fight they dont and instead would just slap their stomachs and stuff so ppl be getting ready to take videos bt no one ends up fighting it happened a lot

and most of the fights were srsly like 3 seconds long too

ths was the very last fight but at least it was kinda long

we were there for like 3 hours but it went by faster than i thought

i also bought some ice cream during te break. it was 350 yen but it was sooo good!

inside the area there were posters of i guess champions or something i have no idea

anyways it was more interesting than i thought it would be and i actually did enjoy it very much.

sent many snapchats to my friends XD

and this sunday seeing kabuki with skool pplz im so excited! ive always wanted to see kabuki!!!

GOLDEN WEEK

GUYS I FINALLY ACTUALLY BEEN DOING STUFF

so lots of pics wheee

ok so friday i didnt wanna be LAME and go home right after school on a friday. i wanted to go out so i hung out with claire from school and we went to 109 tower for makeup. basically we were just walking around shibuya for a few hours. she took me to a sushi shop and even though we had to wait like 30 minutes to get in, it was delicious n cheap too. but i didnt eat much because it was late at night and i didnt want to eat a lot at like 9 at night

the next day i went to see my mom who was meeting her friend and we ate at a tofu shop together. afterwards we ate odango too but i dont really care much for that.

and after that i wanted to go to this shrine place with lots of the red gates cuz it looks cool. theres a few of these places in japan but this one was kinda small. the pathway was only big enough for one person so it was kinda annoying when people were walking the opposite direction

since my moms friend was late to meet us, we didnt have much time to hang around here T__T

i wanted to make a prayer and get my fortune wahh

and idk what these paper things are but w/e

then my mom left to the airport cuz that was her last day in japan. now im all alone in japan >_< waaaahhhhh

anyways, the next day i met with claire again and some of her friends to have a picnic at shinjuku park. it was really nice weather so it was relaxing

i felt like i was in totoro or something

we walked around the park and took some pics

afterwards went to akihabara. we didnt really shop around which was kinda disappointing. at animate i bought a hakuouki thing n got heisuke.

after that met up with more friends and went karaoke

i was shy at first then i didnt care if i suck

after that we got separated from half the group so went to arcade. we took some purikura and clair wanted to play taiko drum master. we had to wait in line but the guy in front of us, once it was his turn he took off his jacket n im like this kid knows wat hes doing. n he did. he played a song on oni mode and got a perfect combo holy crap. im bad at the game so i didnt play

also in akihabara, i saw this group of guys covered in love live stuff omg i really wanted to take a pic with them but like would that be weird? idk.

anyways so got home around 11 and even though i was tired had to shower n stuff. omg my feet were dead cuz i wore my creepers all day but since im going to harajuku the next day(today) i wanted to wear my other platforms so i had to suck it up

so yea went to harajuku with claire but she went to the wrong exit so i was waiting by myself for like 15 minutes

but while i was waiting i saw sebastiano serafini O.O

like he was walking wearing sunglasses but i KNOW it was him. i wanted to talk to him but he was just doing his own thing n i didnt feel like moving cuz i was waiting for my friend so ahh

and once my friend came, across the street there was some popteen thing so we asked the ppl whats the event or w/e and i guess its just taking pictures with the posters which is kinda dumb. like if we got pics with the actual models yeah maybe, but ehhh not this

at this one store i bought this backpack and face mask and OMG they had a placenta mask like do japanese ppl know what that is??

but no i didnt buy this. i bought an aqua collagen one instead. but i really like that store it had really neat vintage-y stuff but some things were a rip off. like dirty used shoes for $40?? really?

i also bought some shoes for 10$ cuz i needed some to go with this one dress i bought n its cheap!

 then ate crepes! cant go to harajuku without crepes!

i bought a choco strawberry banana one and it was delicious

we wanted to take purikura but i dont remember where i saw them from last time so we went to the moshi moshi box or something(and information place) and asked for the closest place. and of course it had to be the store we went in earlier that was super crowded so we left. but went back and we couldnt done cosplay purikura cuz i think it was free but they didnt have a big selection plus its crowded n we hate ppl so w/e

we look kawaii enough

afterwards we were gonna go back home on the train but like EVERYONE was trying to go on the train and the enterance is really small so no one was moving so we decided to walk to shibuya since its like the next town.

there was some beer fest going on idk it was cinco de mayo too idk wat this festival was but w/e

anyways in shibuya we went to an arcade and they had these hakuouki finger puppets and im like i neeeeddd so i tried. my first attemp i tried getting kazama but i fail. so next i decide to aim for okita since he looks like he can fall down easily but i get hijikata instead!! which is good cuz i like him better. but this is my first win ever waaahhh!!

i think 200 yen is a reasonable price for this

claire spent a lot of money. she tried a few different things but she really wanted this yowamushi pedal mug and finally got it after like 10 tries

and then we say goodbye

and i think tomorrow i might go to a hotspring again since i have aching feet n it was really relaxing. im like breaking out cuz ive been wearing makeup everyday n get sweaty do i need to detox my face too.

and on wednesday im going to some meat festival with ze relatives eating delicious meat. i'll be sure to write about that later
